Our children's home is designed to meet the needs of both children and young people through specific goals and objectives. We focus on building off the strengths of each child/young person, taking advantage of every teachable moment.
What is residential Child Care?
providing a child or a young person with supported living residential care when they are not able to live with family or foster carers for a variety of reasons . The loving support a child or young person may need depends on an assessment which is carefully tailored to that person's particular circumstance for them to develop the skills for them to grow, be loved and understood.

How We Work
Horizon Pathway Supported Living is a family owned venture, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing, stimulating and welcoming environment for all children from 8 years to 17 years. Our unique programs incorporate a variety of educational methods and studies, therapeutic healing, personal development , whiist always keeping the child and young person’s best interest in mind and allowing for hands-on, experiential learning. We are committed to helping them develop the necessary skills and resilience to overcome challenges and thrive in their lives. Through a holistic approach, we aim to instil the values of respect, resilience, and reflection in our children, enabling them to become confident, compassionate, and responsible individuals.

Our ethos at Horizon Pathway Supported Living is centred around creating a supportive and inclusive community where every child feels valued and respected. We believe in treating each child with dignity and understanding, recognising their unique strengths and needs. We strive to create an environment that fosters growth, independence, and positive relationships. Our team are committed to providing individualised care, guidance, and support to help children reach their full potential.

1. Respectful: We value respect as the foundation of all our interactions. We promote a culture of respect where children, staff, and families feel heard, valued, and appreciated. We encourage open communication, active listening, and empathy to create a safe and inclusive environment for everyone involved. We believe in treating each individual with dignity and honouring their rights, opinions, and cultural backgrounds.
2. Resilience: We believe in the power of resilience and its ability to help children overcome adversity and thrive. We strive to equip our children with the necessary tools and skills to bounce back from challenges, setbacks, and trauma. Through therapeutic interventions, personalised care plans, and supportive relationships, we aim to foster resilience in our children/young people, enabling them to develop a positive mindset, problem-solving abilities, and emotional well-being.
